Find Your Perfect Task Management Solution: A Review of Zenkit and ClickUp

As a virtual assistant, executive coach, or business owner, having good collaborative project/task management software is essential. A centralised system helps you stay organised, focused, and calm by keeping all your task lists together and tracking workflows. There are a plethora of different systems available, such as Trello, Asana, and ClickUp. Having used multiple systems throughout my PA/VA career, I keep coming back time and time again to Zenkit, which, in my opinion, offers unrivalled versatility and utility. However, ClickUp is also another favourite task management system worth considering.

Like Zenkit, ClickUp offers a plethora of features that make task management a breeze, such as task dependency configurations, innumerable ways of displaying data (including a Gantt chart and calendar view), reminders (including recurring reminders), excellent collaboration functionality, and a detailed audit trail of all activity across different collections. Additionally, ClickUp offers a comprehensive suite of features such as time tracking, goal tracking, and bug tracking, which are not available in Zenkit.

While Zenkit offers a beautiful design that is responsive across all devices and is entirely customisable, ClickUp's design is equally impressive and provides more themes to choose from. ClickUp also offers seamless integrations with other tools such as Google Calendar, Slack, and Toggl.

Here’s a summary of how the features stack up:
